Pattern Language for Mobile Phones

Researched the limitations in the mobile phone design process and came up with a patterns based UI design library and specification tool that helps interaction designers deal routinely with some of the rooted constraints of phone design

Presented and published research paper on mobile interaction design at HCII 2009 Conference in San Diego: http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=1601133
1900 participants from 73 countries attended the conference.
This diagram shows the hierarchical relationships between the design patterns. Filled arrows point to Patterns which are covered in this project. Hollow arrows point to static,non- behavioural elements in the phone. The hierarchy is broken up into two main categories:Action/Flow and Screen/Widget. They combine at the task level.
